Your inbox, guarded. Your work, on one board.

Kievit is the AI mailbox that blocks scams and phishing, clears out newsletters, and turns the email that matters into tasks. One board for every mail account and every business you run.

Named after the kievit, the Dutch meadow bird that fiercely guards its nest.

Every email that matters becomes a task. Everything else disappears.

  1. Connect every inbox

Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail or any IMAP account, Slack and your calendars. Several mailboxes, one place.

  2. The noise goes first

Newsletters, receipts, notifications and reply-all chatter never reach your board. Scams and phishing are caught, with the reason why.

  3. What needs you becomes a task

A clear title, a short summary and the due date, with the whole email thread attached, so the context is never lost. You confirm; nothing is added without you.

  4. Reply and it’s done

Answer from your mail app or Slack, as always. Kievit sees your reply and closes the task.

A guard for your inbox, not just a filter

Spam filters stop the obvious. Kievit reads every message once and is critical about the rest.

Scams and phishing, caught

Failed sender checks, look-alike domains, links that go somewhere else than they say, risky attachments, “urgent” payment requests. A task tells you to check, never to pay.

Newsletters cleared out

Mailing lists, no-reply senders, receipts and notifications are set aside before anything else happens. Ignore a sender with one tap.

Reply-all, quieted

Once you’ve answered, the rest of the thread only comes back when someone asks you something new.

One board for every business you run

Made for founders with a holding and an operating company, board members, consultants and fractional executives, and freelancers with several clients: several roles, several inboxes.

An area per business

Private, your company, the board you sit on. Each inbox feeds its own area; see one or all at once.

Boards for your team

Share an area with coworkers: a board with your own columns, labels, checklists, comments and assignees, that fills itself from email.

Calendars, too

Unanswered invitations and meetings that need preparation become tasks before they start.

Slack

Direct messages and mentions become suggestions. React with 👀 to make any message a task.

Works everywhere

Keyboard shortcuts, swipe actions, dark mode, offline, and an app on your Home Screen or Dock.

The task app your AI assistant can actually work with

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that speaks MCP. It sees your tasks, boards and checklists, and, if you allow it, searches your mailboxes and calendars live. “What do I owe Karin this week?” “Turn this thread into a checklist.”

  • Read and act. List, add and update tasks, tick off checklist items, assign work in a shared area.
  • Your mail as context. Search and read every connected mailbox and calendar, only when you allow it.
  • You stay in charge. Read-only or read-and-write per connection; revoke any time. Tasks added by an assistant are marked as such.

Built to keep your mail yours

Kievit has to read messages to be useful. It keeps as little as possible, for as short as possible, and tells you exactly what. Your data is stored in the EU.

Kept
Message textNever stored. Read live, cached 15 minutes, encrypted
Sender, subject, date6 months, to link threads to tasks
Your tasks and notesUntil you finish or delete them (then 6 months)
Passwords and tokensEncrypted with a key per user
StatisticsCounts only, never content
  • Message text is never stored. It’s read when a message arrives and when you open it.
  • Stored in the EU. Your account, tasks and message details live in Cloudflare’s EU jurisdiction.
  • Read-only access to your mail. With Gmail, Kievit asks Google only for permission to read your email (and your calendar, if you connect it), to find what needs you. It can’t send, change or delete anything. How Google user data is used is set out in the privacy policy.
  • Passkeys, no passwords. Sign in with Face ID, Touch ID or your password manager.
  • Yours to take or delete. Download everything, or delete your account and its data, from your profile. GDPR rights in the privacy policy.

Pay for what you use

Questions

How do you say Kievit?
KEE-vit. It’s Dutch for the lapwing, the meadow bird that fiercely guards its nest.
Does Kievit replace my mail app?
No. Keep using Apple Mail, Gmail or Outlook. Kievit reads alongside it, sets the noise aside and puts what needs you on your board. Replies you send from your mail app close the task.
Can it send email or pay anything on my behalf?
No. Kievit only reads your mail: it can’t send, change or delete it. In Slack it only posts the replies you write and confirm. It never pays, signs in or clicks links for you.
